Sorry if this was covered previously, I searched and didn't see anything relevant.
Did I miss my opportunity for a "Swiss Made" unit as the dial says (maybe used to say)? The price hasn't gone down by 80%, but either there are a lot of counterfeit units from reputable sources, or the country of origin has changed. Even MSC shows that there is a tariff on them. I don't think we have tariffs on Switzerland right? I love the people in China, I work with them on a daily basis and they are great hard working folks, but a Chinese 0.0001" DTI is $38-$65, a BesTesT is $220-$275. Does anyone know where to find a NOS Swiss BesTesT, or should I just save the ~$200 and get a generic "7 Jewel" unit?
