    Default Doall monolight bulb

I bought a older Doall monolight off of ebay and in shipping the bulb/light tube was damaged. It looks like a old neon style tube. Does anybody know where to get a new bulb or have it fixed?
    Thanks,
    Randy

No part number. The tube Looks very proprietary
Think I’ll look into using a defused laser light

My father had similar in his shop, though as I recall is was a Rank Van Keuren. Lamp was not neon, it was Krypton filled.

See page 13 etc. of NIST Gage Block Handbook URL="https://www.nist.gov/system/files/documents/calibrations/mono180.pdf"][/URL]

They suggest a fluorescent bulb with a green filter may be good enough.
