I bought a older Doall monolight off of ebay and in shipping the bulb/light tube was damaged. It looks like a old neon style tube. Does anybody know where to get a new bulb or have it fixed?
Thanks,
Randy

See page 13 etc. of NIST Gage Block Handbook URL="https://www.nist.gov/system/files/documents/calibrations/mono180.pdf"][/URL]

They suggest a fluorescent bulb with a green filter may be good enough.

MSC and Kemet sell monochromatic bulbs for optical flats. The MSC ones are listed as helium tubes. I don't know the specifics of the original Do-All bulb.

I suspect the right LED source or normal source passed through a narrow bandpass filter would work, although you would need to adjust the error per band based on the wavelength of light chosen.
