I have one of these that came on a gage a customer gave me as a sample. They have no idea where it came from and I am having very little success hunting it down. It looks like it may be obsolete? The company Hommelworke doesn't have a web site I can find, only hits are for used equipment like roundness testers and bench micrometers. Does anyone know of a source for these? It's an extension for an 8mm shank drop test indicator. I can't use a typical long tip extension, I need to clamp on an 8mm shank near the work piece and have the indicator body out of the way. These are well made and accurate, it transfers motion without any rotation of the tip. IMG_20191007_151954441.jpgIMG_20191007_152003067.jpgIMG_20191007_152015200.jpg

Name and number on the extension Hommelwerke 3-35.991

No help on the identification, but I have made several extensions out of 1/4 C.R.S. to move move the body out of harms way. Put a spherical radius on end and thread the other end. It is a 4-48 thread, i believe.
