Hello!
How do you guys approach measuring surface finish in difficult to reach places, like in confined spaced inside a mold etc?
We have to measure the surface finish inside the buckets of a pelton runner...
We have a surface finish gauge similar to this one:
Mitutoyo, Category: Surftest SJ-410
However the head is rather large and cumbersome and we wont be able to get it inside the buckets to measure the free form surface.
So the question is, how would you measure the surface finish between the buckets? Are there other surface finish gauge available with a smaller head?
