Anybody familiar with Metronic Systems laser scanning CMMs?
I picked up a G2-36 system to refurbish. (Boeing surplus still lives)
No computer or software included.
I've got the Galil motion controller programming figured out and all the moving parts of the system working.
Turns out the OEM didn't seem to understand the benefits of the accu-rite scale position-trac encoding and went with simple homing instead.
I'm currently looking for software that can talk to the scan-head over Ethernet. Otherwise I'll have to write something myself.
