Need AC adapter for Mettler-Toledo precision scale (AB204)

Hi all -

I'm looking for a replacement AC adapter for a Mettler-Toledo AB204 scale. This is NOT and AB204S (which is the newer version).

The AB204 takes a three prong (with all three prongs in a line) plug, which we cannot find a replacement anywhere.

The power supply itself is a 14.5V (5VA) AC adapter that was rated for 50/60 hz...

We can't even find a pin out description (to make our own adapter). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Until someone comes along with something better, maybe you can get the info you need here if you haven't tried this route yet: AB204 - Documentation - METTLER TOLEDO Knowing the part number for the AC adapter would help searching the various calibration labs and surplus test equipment sellers for one. Sorry, I should have provided that part number in my first post. Yes, we have already searched for it, as well as the manual. No such luck with either.

(We are Specialists in OEM AC power adapter for many devices and equipments. We can custom-made any Voltages, Amperages and various connector power supply.)

Not sure what you meant with the above statement, but a simple "this guy says he can custom make any power supply seems more appropriate. In any case, thanks, I've contacted him.

The listing was for the wrong adapter, and if Milacron was the op of this thread, he might not have studied the ad for any redeeming value


There's a statement about the adapter not having the inline plug, and I thought "if they know about that plug, perhaps they can create or source a proper adapter".

Glad to hear you may have found a vendor.

AH! I apologize.... I thought I had said something to provoke you. Yeah, the vendor is following up on my request. I'll report back if it is successful. In the meantime, I'll follow any other leads that pop up.

Well, in following up with the Ebay seller, they asked me for a picture of the power socket on the back of the scale. So I went into our materials lab (I'm doing this as a favor for our materials scientist) to go take a picture, and notice a "for service, call xxxxxxxxx" sticker on the side. I ask the materials scientist if he called the number, and he said "no". I called them and without even pausing after hearing the question they responded that they had a retro-fit power supply ready to ship to me. Imagine that!

where did you get your adapter? I need one as well.

Mettler says they do not have any more.
I can't find on ebay, etc.
three prong, 120V.
for a different Mettler scale, sb16001
