Recently purchased a Wilson 3PR in excellent condition with a lot of accessories. C and D scales.
I have a manual and all the good stuff and know how to use it.
However I would enjoy learning what the model number designations mean.
I have read that the R refers to a standard Rockwell tester.
S refers to Superficial.
Do not know what the 3 refers to or what the P refers to.
I have searched for a few hours, both on this site and with Google. Not too much info out there about the designation numbers.
Anyone have any info?
Thanks!
