I hase an Etalon 50 millionths indicating micrometer that I need to have the anvils lapped.
I used to use a place to do this but they dont take repair work anymore.
i talked with a couple places and they said they would get it within 1 graduation, which to me is not acceptable and not even close to what they are supposed to be. When they are new they are perfect.
Can anyone recommend a place that can lap them flat and // within 20 millionths?
