I have an 18” dual beam dial counter height gage, but the inch counter has stopped registering. The thousandths counter is still working though. I realize they register on different beams, but is there anything I should be aware of before I crack open the back? When I take off the back, is there anything I have to worry about being spring loaded or shooting out?
