Starrett Altissimo height gauge belt is slipping. Anyone know how to tighten.

Hi all. The manual does not discuss how to adjust for a belt slipping. It does so during coarse and fine adjustment.

Will call Starrett Mon morning but I hope someone knows the procedure now so I can keep running.

Solved. Starrett technical rep was great to talk to over the phone. We must have left a shipping bolt tightened too much and stretched out two springs inside the unit. The springs are easily replaced and they can send you some if you need them. Good safety fail feature in the design.
