I finally got around to removing the ugly muffin fan that someone placed on my 10EE when the original cooling fan gave it up. I wasn't able to repair the original motor, but instead found a replacement of a similar size that fits in it's place. The only thing is that I'm missing the screen that would go over the fan opening - anyone have a spare, or be willing to put up a photo so I can find something similar to what was once there?

    Russ, I don't remember,is yours a "works in a
drawer unit"? That fan mounts in a hole in the base casting on the backside towards the
tailstock. The screen is just a circular cut
piece of screen sandwiched between the round
covers. Same pattern of screen that is used in some of the other covers. The fan cover
is just a round bezel with four screw holes.
I can e-mail a pix and dimension if this is your style of fan. Daryl

That's the one, a pic and drawing would be OK, and I'll fab something to sit on top. Anything will look better than the muffin fan that was hung on there.
