    You're talking about the 1962 Modular drive machine that you were looking at at the beginning of this thread, correct?

    DualValve may be thinking in terms of motor/generator machines, which are very different beasts.

    Correct, she is a 1962 Modular drive.

    SUCCESS! It was a bad auxiliary contact in the main PC.

    BIG THANK YOU to Tim Jones for taking the time to help me sort this out, he has been invaluable!

    The solution for now is to replace the wires with longer units so they can diverted from the left contact to the right contact (spare/unused), I used jumpers for now. Machine now powers on as it should.

    I will replace the tubes with the SCR's tonight!

    Exciting Times.
