I am cleaning out my machine shop, 40 years ago I bought a taper atch for a unknown monarch and put it in the back room, until today. 15 years ago I bought a new type 61 14x30 from the gov, still on the shipping pallet. Also put it the back room for storage. Well today I dug it all out, lathe is new with the standard taper atch, but the unknown is also for a 61 with a real nice TAPER ATTACHMENT VARIATOR with the gears for 1/1 2/1 3/1...anyone have a parts list or print of the changes I would need to add this to the lathe. I don't really want to change all of the taper atch just add the gearbox...Thanks Phil

Well I cant help with the swap but I would be interested in buying whichever taper attachment you decided not to use.

No, but I will sell you a 16x54 monarch 62, I have wanted to use the 61 for a long time but kept in storage until I retired so I would have a new lathe...Phil
