I have a 1941 14" aa lathe that the mover tipped over and broke most of the
handles off. how do i remove the feed gear box or feed shift lever to fix it.
looking for a cross slide wheel/ handle.

For the operating handles, other than the gearbox, Monarch generally used approved handles.

The dimensions are found in Machinery's Handbook.

I bought replacement handles from Reid Tool ... the handles, mind you, NOT the hand wheels.

For complete hand wheels, Monarch is your supplier.

I would also suspect the saddle or carriage cast iron could be cracked too, if it hit hard. I would take lots of photo's and get a hold of his insurance company. Don't sign off until you run the machine. Can you put on some photo's here?

thanks got a hand wheel from reid. it was rolled over not dropped .cant charge some one it was unloaded for free
