    Cal the Gf1-gf2 reading was with the resistor, I failed to check the reading after the resistors removal😞

    Check it now. If it's around 100 Ohms, you're good to go. I guess that someone wanted to limit the top speed of the machine for some reason. I think you said that one of the rheostats was bad when you got the machine, perhaps it's related to that.

    Gf1 to Gf2 ohm reading with the resistor bypassed is 93 ohms, your a steely eyed missle man Cal, good eye.��
