The correct serial number is 40931, built 11-1955. It probably originally had a motor/generator drive.

That's $2310 total. If it was a runner and in decent shape, not an outrageous price. Guessing any tooling went in a separate lot.

$1750* 132%.... $2310 total. If it was a runner and in decent shape, not an outrageous price. Guessing any tooling went in a separate lot. And was there a riggers charge to load-out?

You'd have to bring your own rigger with a min $2,000,000 insurance, but when I went there to pick up a drill press it seemed like anyone can take their lots without much formalities..

There was no tooling and no chuck included, machine seemed in good shape..

I believe the fee breakdown for this auction would be 15% premium in person and 18% via Bidspotter plus local
sales tax of 10% (El Monte, Calif)so fees of 25% to 28% unless you are resale. Keep in mind at this particular
location equipment is either owned by the auctioneer or consigned. Machines prettied up for sale here would require
close inspection in my opinion. Sam

No I bid online on the drill press, and only later found out about how valuable this lathe is.. If I knew before I'd bid on it. It was not hooked up to electricity, so no way to check anything except for obvious wear..
