Looking for elusive info as to which model Monarch this gem bolts onto. I found a bulletin with an exact picture and some sizes but no model references. I suspect this is for either a CK or 60 series around 16".
Rear slots are 11-1/4" c/l to c/l.
7-1/4" c/l of back slot to c/l of fr hole.
1-1/8" bottom of rear feet to C/l fr hole.
6-1/2" bottom of rear feet to C/l of tip.
It has a part or serial No. 39038 on foot.
Looks like has spent most of it's time under the bench. No breaks, cracks, welds or bad threads. Minimal wear on the tips. It did get a not so good paint job at some point. If you own a long bed Monarch this fits it could be available.

May I be the first in line if you decide to sell it, and size/price fit? I will be able to take measurements in 2 weeks and will report them right away.

Thank you.

Mike

P.S. Actually, I'll try to call Monarch and figure it out on 1-2-20. They're closed today.

This beautiful old gem is being transferred to a new location. Hopefully to reunite with a grand old Monarch that will have it secured to the carriage to make things straight and true.
Thanks for looking.

Danny,
Are you in need of a Steady Rest for your Monarch?
I have two to choose from, both are in fine condition. I wish Manufactures would have included clear identification markings on their attachments. The smaller one has no numbers at all, the larger one #46504. I suspect these are for 60 Series Monarchs. If interested send me a PM and I'll have more pics and info.

Bob,

I've just unpacked the follow rest you sent to me. What a truly amazing packaging! I'm impressed.

I tried installing the rest, and it fits perfectly. You've made my day. Thank you so much!

Here are a few photos you asked to take.

Mike,
Man that looks so nice attached to your lathe. I'm glad I did not hack it up to fit on my Hendey. I've not used that type of follower but I'll bet it turns somewhat difficult long shaft jobs into gravy. Glad it arrived without any issues. When you get it dialed in and are turning or threading a long part make us a short video and post it so we can all drool over it.

The larger of the two Steady Rests is heading to the West Coast. Here are a couple more pics of the other one. I thought it was for a 60 Series but after some inquires the dimensions do not match. No numbers to be seen, looks to be 8" from flat to C/L and 6-1/4" from center of V to center of flat.Nice overall condition, used but not abused. If this fits you Monarch it is available for 375.00+ shipping.
