I just bought] a 1943 Monarch 10EE MG lathe with the AC motor wired for 440 VAC, 3 phase. To run on 240 VAC 3 phase, can I just rewire the AC motor, according to the motor nameplate, or do I also have to make other changes such as: adding a 220/440 control transformer to provide 440 volts, where needed? I'd like to keep the lathe as original as possible. BL6892_01.jpg
