Default Rivett 1020S - First Cut (not really)

Actually I made a couple prior to this but forgot to take any pics. So here’s a pic. Doesn’t really do the finish justice.

You need to feed it faster so it breaks a chip. Those long curls can be dangerous. Proper feed, speed and depth of cut will break the chip and give you a finish.

Dress warm if you stroll over to Hell for some "quality time". Can't afford to lose our experts.

National shortage of PITA's, so many of 'em tied-up tearin' at each other inside the Dee Cee Silly Circle these days.

You oughtta "run for Congress". Paris-Dakar or such should be safe enuf'? Sure as "Hell" don't wanna WIN no election to that Parliament of Whores. Let alone the Wide Out House.

Might end-up being assigned Special Ambassador to the "Health Scare" desk over to "PM"?

Pay ain't much. But its a life-time tenured professorship.

Thermite-Just about the time I think I can’t take anymore of your slow-talking hillbilly machinist Mumbo jumbo - you slip one in so pretty it resets the clock
You really down a digit for a day or two?

That’s what makes it a first cut. . Playing with the speeds and feeds.

It’s 4330. Never used that before.

I'm trying to decide which is more entertaining, Thermite's minor rant or ripperj's characterization of same.

Could you hold your breath or otherwise sustain the necessary time to do that? I couldn't. There may be message in there someplace, but just hoping BILL will learn to get it there with 90% less words.

I don't know - with the volume it might be easier to weigh them than to count them. If so, "less" would be proper.

Meahh.. then you'd have to compensate for the "light hearted". And adjusted to the reader's personality. Or mood of the moment.

Too difficult. I just dooz wot I doozs and lets the chips be handled like any OTHER chips, coolant separation/reclamation or "whatever".

It would only be "skin off my ass" if I posted nekkid, then stuck to the damned swivel-chair.. or terlet-seat, as one suspects a certain lego-troll may do.

    Not I!!!

A person has to have SOME "standards" left - even late in life - after all.

    "It's PM"

Got "standards" even in the MeteorProctology For 'em.

Now.. still to be sorted as to WHY a maker would want to rivet a lathe 'stead of CASTING it like everyone else does?

'minds me of the time me late Dad, super proud of beng an accident-immune driver - arrived home with a dent in the fender of his Dodge.

Lost control and rammed a snowbank. Icy road? Not really.

Seem small-town western Pennsyltucky daytime AM radio had a breathless young lady break in to the music to announce a local home was afire, and this-and-that fire company from each of here-and-there had responded to put out the blaze.

Well. not all that boring nor interesting, either way

But when she tripped her speeding mind over a slightly jumbled tongue and pronounced with great gravitas:

"It is believed the star farted on the Christmas tree!"

.. he was laughing too hard to see straight ..and hit the snowbank!
