All,
I have a 1943 16CW that I have restored to working condition. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way the entire clutch lever and gearbox system has been removed. I am pretty sure I can fabricate everything I need to, but I am very new to metal working as a whole. I think that if I can get ahold of the miter gearbox everything else should be fairly easy. I bought some 45 degree miter gears off amazon that I can adapt. I've included a photo of the lathe as-is along with the drawing of needed parts.
Hopefully someone out there has saved some of this or has a dead CW that they wouldn't mind selling some parts off of.
Cheers,
Gary
