    Default A shame to see this Old Monarch Lathe heading for the scrap bin,

    Good old made in USA iron,
    Does anyone out there want to buy it?

    Try posting it in the Machinery for Sale or Wanted forum (link). Make sure you include the location of the lathe in the title.

    I could sure use one or two parts off of it if you are able to scrounge them and could ship them! Specifically I need the small cast cover that is over the left end of the spindle. It is the sort of bell-shaped piece that sits on top of the larger hinged cover. Shoot me a PM or an email to [email protected] if that's something you could help me with. I'd REALLY appreciate it because I thought I'd never find one of those and would end up having to make a pattern and have one cast myself!
