Source for ND 5210 Rear Spindle Bearings for 10EE's through early 60's

ND 5210's are getting harder to find, but there is still an availability of the 5210 with shields. the shields can be popped off and you have a normal 5210. They are called 55510's. The bearings say 5210 on the side.

Solid info! I think I may work on acquiring a spare set of spindle bearings for mine to have on the shelf in case of need some day.

This is the bearing I used.

55510(MAX) New Departure New Double Row Ball Bearing | eBay

I replaced every bearing on my lathe (as in every bearing) with ND bearings I got from Locate BB, with the exception of the the 88505s. All their 88505s had congealed grease and were notchy. But every other ND was good. I admit, I have Japanese 88505s in my apron. (Every bearing except the big pair in the back gear gearbox (NTN)and the spindle bearing pair (Fafnir))
