I'm wondering if anyone knows the actual power factor for the 10ee round dial MG AC 3 phase motor. I would guess its around 0.8 but it's not on the nameplate and being 80 years old at this point, guessing might not be the best way to go about things. I'm trying to figure out input wire sizing and heater coil selection for the main contactor AFTER a Steelman 3ph to 1ph conversion has been done to the motor.

From the Steelman website about component sizing:

L1 & L2 Full Load Amperage = 1.82 x 3 Phase Power Factor x 3 Phase FLA

So using my power factor guess of 0.8, L1 & L2 input lines should carry 19.2A. That's about 6A more than the original motor's FLA rating. But that number changes if the power factor is different.

Anyone know the real power factor?

BTW, the machine is a 1942 round dial. Here is a picture of the AC motor plate.
