I am linking a video of the problem.
Syntax changes to the command line do not make any difference. T080808 or T0808 etc...
(FYI, I have the Z max limit set 1" from crashing into the tailstock)

Sometimes it will move both axis, but not always.
I am confused, to say the least.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks,
Doug

Is the offset call automatically bringing Z to the zero maybe? Have you tried removing or changing your Z offset and see if that makes a difference?

I assume you mean removing the Z value in Tool Offset? (or do you mean face of the part, offset?)

Yes, or changing it to see if the behaviour changes. In your vid the Z moves back, what would happen with no offset in Z, or change it by +1 or 2"..?

What was the diagnosis? Im guessing the third offset callout, the machine is positioning itself in relation to the quadrant for the nose radius.
