I have an Okuma with the um10m controller. Kinda a nice machine but very limited on memory, would be nice to have more especially since I run alot of dynamic milling programs. So I decided I would try the DNC drip feed. Well I got the machine to communicate with the PC but once I start the drip feed function it just comes up with the 4240 error. I don't know if i'm doing something wrong or if something is wrong with the machine.
I am under the assumption that all I have to do is switch the communication switch to on and the buffer switch to on and restart the machine. then go to auto and press cycle start and transfer the program. I'm new to this Okuma so any kind of help would really be appreciated
