Okuma Howa

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the newer Okuma Howa CNC lathes. We have several okumas at my shop and I program the okuma LT2000MY lathes with the OSP control. We need something a little smaller so we are getting some single spindle, single turret Okuma Howa quoted. I know these are made in Taiwan and the Okuma LTs are not Taiwanese. Are these Howa machines any good? What's the deal with them compared to the non-Taiwanese Okumas?

A new Okuma Howa, that would be very interesting. Okuma Howa ceased operations almost 10 years ago now and their products were absorbed by Okuma Corporation. Are you referring to the Genos series of lathes that Okuma manufacturers at the TOC plant in Taiwan? The HJ models of this series are available with Fanuc controls, otherwise they come with an OSP control.
