Hi everyone!
Is it possible to replace OKUMA OPUS500II MAIN BOARD II part number E4809-436-OII-B with a newer one E4809-045-086-A or with main board from OSP5020? From what I have read in many OKUMA manuals and troubleshooting documents they should be compatible, but I just want to be sure for 100% so Im asking it here. Background why Im asking this: machine doesnt start main screen anymore, LEDs on control rack shows BUS ERROR and WPRT ERROR so Im leaning towards replacing of main CPU board. It has happened before, but everything returned to normal condition after restart. Now it just show a green text on screen - CNC V101 LIC V100 then a test list- everything shows OK, and CRP READY. Thats all! Nothing changes when restarting a system. ).
If Im wrong in my conclusions please correct me.

Will leave this here as it might be useful for others too. Machine is working. CPU boards are compatible so it is possible to install board with different number. Only thing I did were setting jumpers as on the original CPU board, and reseating Hitachi 2764 EPROM chips (mine original were marked SBP2E200L and SBP2E200U) from old board to new. I did read and created a spare memory dumps of EPROM chips from both boards (these are SBP2E200L, SBP2E200U, SBP3_AE100L,SBP3_AE100U)just in any case, so if someone need it just PM me.
