I bought a couple of used LB4000EX in the spring, and finally have a need to use the tailstock/live center for some shaft work.
Any previous tailstock work experience on different machines, has been with hydraulic quill tailstocks.
Machines in question are both LB4000EX Big bores, OSP300L control on one of them. OSP200L on the other.
I've got the manuals, but cannot seem to find some things on the control that the book documentation references.
Teach Mode button?? Where is this and what does it look like.
Cannot find the places to set approach position, thrust, sizing position, retract position, etc..
The book gives a screen shot of the NC tailstock User Parameter screen.. Not finding that.
I've got a call into Morris Midwest applications.. Any help from forums users, would be appreciated.
And to be clear.. Yes, it is an NC tailstock, Built in type, #5 morse taper.
