Thread: OSP700M control memory?

I looked at an Okuma cadet mate 4020 and I'm having a hard time figuring out how much program memory it actually has (OSP 700M).
If it's only like 32kb it might not be very usable for me, does anyone have experience with this old control or machine? The year is I believe 1998 or so.

I wonder how crazy installing a Centroid oak retrofit to it would be?

If memory serves me, the default storage is like 256Mb

From what I can gather from the manual, the "default" would be whatever 80 meters of tape works out to, like 32kb.
