trying to find a way to put max limit on override switches. have various controls from 5000 to p200. I'm not real computer savvy, but it seems to me, there should be, at least, some kind of I/o or something recognizing the override action. especially on the newer p200 with windows, I would think there's a way to check a parameter & alarm out the machine if the limit is exceeded.
I've not been able to find anything, and Morris Midwest says can't be done, so maybe I'm chasing my tail. can't use the M codes to ignore because slower overrides are needed for setups. if anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate it.
 
A quick check can be done at the start of the program to confirm it is at100% using variables to check the status of the IO.
Or if you want it to be watching ALL the time, on the P200 and newer you could write a THINC application to monitor it at all times
