We use two static chargers to give a plastic film the needed attraction for the film to say in place as the part is molded. The end of arm tooling spins 180 to also pick the molded part after it loads the label on the stationary side of the mold.
Those things are cool. The auto plant I worked at had a couple gantry robots to pick and load cylinder heads from a bank of CNCs. One was a couple hundred feet long and man would that thing zip from one end to another.
