OTC Daihen Robots

We are looking to get into robotic welding.
Last fall at Fabtec we checked out OTC Daihen and thought they had a good product and people.


Does anyone have first hand exeperience with OTC Daihen?

We need something simple and turnkey with good support.

no experience with Daihen, but nothing but stellar things to say about Genesis Systems Group...for us they are a 1/2 hour drive up the road. I like the fanuc robot controls, many similarities in convention to the machine tool controllers.

Are you referring to OTC or Kawasaki?

Know of any good integrators in the north east? Specifically with GMAW Aluminum welding expertise?

I don't really care whose robot it is as long as it is easy to program.

I must say though that the Daihen welding power supply is amazing.

Kawasaki does integration, especially welding. They have several very experienced applications folks. Kawasaki supplies welding robots to Ford, among others. They are US headquartered in Wixom, MI. Excellent support and service. We have well over 100 on our floor.

Genesis Systems groups integrates many brands of robots... high gmaw steel experience, I think they do aluminum,, not sure how much. They are in Davenport, Iowa...not sure of anyone closer to you...
