Anyone using an Aloris tool post on a Schaublin lathe? I’m so used to them on my other lathes, so I ordered little MXA set to try on the 102. I should have asked before ordering... They have the MXA set for 30% off and I caved.

Just noticing this thread. I'm using them on my 102's and I love them. The carbide cutoff setup is too high, but everything else is great. Not only do they have occasional sales, they have a more budget oriented line made of anodized aluminum. I'm using one of those for lightweight work on a slightly larger lathe and it's working just fine as well. Aloris has been great to work with. For the steel ones they'll mill the t-nut for you. For the aluminum ones (at least when on sale) you'll need to mill your own.
