On the lathes.UK website Tony speaks of the Chipmasters
selling for 46% more than a student lathe.
I was just wondering if some of the old timers might
know what Chipmasters or Harrison 10AA's sold for when new?
In those days ,a lathe came bare ,just a faceplate ,two centres ,and a tailstock......industrial /school users would simply draw accessories from the toolroom...private buyers had to stump um another 100 quid to modestly equip their machine.
