Homebrewblob,
Where did the thread on the K-20 go?
Did it sell? How much?

Hahaha, I was waiting for the hate to build up a little more on that thread before I destroyed the haters with facts.
That truck is potentially even more bald eagle than you think. Even the car 'experts' that responded didn't see the obvious clues. Was pretty comical. If my suspicion is correct then I'd say you could easily 3x your asking price, advertise it accordingly and post it nationally or at least in a few major cities on craigslist.
The glove box decal would settle it once and for all.

Paint code.
"551" in the paint code means a 50th Anniversary Edition truck.
Rare for a K20

Bald eagle? Not familiar with the slang term.
Googled it, but don't think shaved pubes describes the truck.

You're absolutely right, they're not the same, but I'm still not familiar with the term.

Well after about 8 emails back and forth with pics comparing parts, Uglystuf casually reveals he has a TUE 40 and not a TUG 40.
LOL.... Oh those little details.
For anyone else who might inquire, a TUE40 has basically nothing in common with a TUG40 other than they are both lathes.Last edited by Doug W; 12-03-2020 at 02:12 PM.

Nope. The American bald eagle is the USA national bird! To us it’s the most important bird there is, slang has used the bird as a symbol of America pride.
That Chevy truck is as American as apple pie.
Also thread drift like I’ve never seen! This is not our thread so let’s be respectful
