    I got that same lathe offered a couple of days ago by a french dealer
    I woud have bought it if it was the newer type
    Is it for sale ?? Or have you bought it just now

    There are no differences of type A or B in Schaublin 160 model.
    Simply, the control panel is different.
    No it is not for sale.

    That looks like a nice machine. Nicer than my 135 that should be coming down to France once I get a company set up here (which is a huge pain in the rear) freight companies don't want to ship in from outside the EU (Norway) to a private person and for some reason my bank can't figure out how to set up an account for a foreign owned branch company.

    Where in France are you?

    I have no problem selling and shipping to private persons inside or outside the EU
    Ask a different compagnie then
    I know the Norwegian Bring Cargo does not deliver to private persons

    Nah.... the one I had was truly like new Bought new by Polaroid Corp. and never used. Y backlash was .0006" as I recall.

    It's only 45 miles away... I haven't visited with it in years but suspect it's still pristine today
