New Weiler Praktikant VCD and Commodor VCD lathes.... any idea of pricing ? (video)

I own a Praktikant VC Plus model year 2019. You can expect about $75K for the base model, well over $100K with options.
Thanks dr....I had forgot you bought one. Does the VC Plus have any CNC type programming possibilities ?

No real CNC features, but it does have some very nice digital capabilities like multiple programmable electronic stops, aids for doing threads, tapers, DRO, etc....you can think of it as still being a manual machine but with features that help with calculations, etc to make life easy. And needless to say, its a very accurate machine, comparable to a Monarch 10EE. I also went with the Parat Tool Holding sysem (versus MultiFix) which when combined with the machines 10HP makes for very robust cutting ability.

I do like the DRO on the tailhead. Do you have a close-up picture of that?

Here's a photo of the tailstock DRO: IMG_20191211_172524.jpg

Here's a shot of the entire machine: IMG_20191211_172505.jpg

Here's a shot of the MQL (minimum quantity lubrication) system: IMG_20191211_172603.jpg

Here's a shot of the apron: IMG_20191211_172533.jpg

And a close-up of the Parat Tool Holder: IMG_20191211_172645.jpg

Base price of the Commodore model(no VC) was 46k euro 2-3 years ago.The H/H DRO costed around 6k and the PARAT option added about 2k to the final amount. In case somebody wants it fully equipped, cost escalates to 60-65k at a blink of an eye...
