I don't have the vacation time. Anyway - you can bid online and forgo the European experience.
It would be nice to able to do that though because there was a LOT of nice stuff.
Ah well - one can only dream. In reality I need to go to Germany to get some FP1 stuff. I'm not turned on by Swiss lathes because you can buy sensible ones from England and Taiwan that are adequate. I'm just not a fan of Bridgeport style mills - as a mechanical engineer that mass up top makes NO sense.
