I think you will find Griffo bros is expensive for what you want. Mazview is cheap and works a treat. If you want to edit and write away from the machine then you will need either Griffo or Mazacam....

How long has the machine been sitting? If batteries have gone flat and parameters lost you may need to do a re-initialise. Check parameters as has been mentioned before anything else.

First thing to check is the capacitors. Change the lot would probably be best. Only get good quality name brand ones as some of the cheap ones aren't much chop. I get a lot of stuff from here...

Maybe go through the parameters you have with what the EEprom loaded and make the changes to your hard copy for the future

Yes I get that often if I have been doing a lot of editing in a program. I only try it a couple of times then just rewrite that unit and 9 times out of 10 it fixes the problem

Are you getting any errors or does it just unclamp and sit there? If just sitting there you need to check if its getting the index signal. Should be able to see this on the ladder
