Replacing the rusty mount bolts I noticed the wilton base has tapered mounting holes from 3/4-1/2” . Any source for inserts to use? Im thinking the vise... -

Sometimes , with older rifles the wood has compressed enough not to allow enough "movement" on the trigger to get tbe clearance you need to nave the bolt pass.

Vs .750 is 4.4 cuin3 or about 12oz plus what ever I can shave off the 4" in... -
