I'm referring to features below the spindle nose, where a tool changer would "grab" the holder. The "old-style" Kolch and Deckel collet adapters have no such features.

I've been looking at the OZ25 collet adapters listed on the FS site, and there are a couple of variants there. I believe some of these are commonly known as BT40 (with drive notches) and SK40 (with...

So out of curiosity I sent a query to a local industrial supplier, who will sell me KAR-brand OZ25 collets at a fairly reasonable price - CAD27 each. I think this'd be a reasonable way for me to hold...

Fabricating an FP2 lower chip pan?

    Hey y'all,

My FP2 leaves me little dribbles of way oil on the floor. Mostly this is a nuisance on the operator's side where I get drips from the Z-axis handwheel. The oil does seem to make its way...

Interesting, looks like there are different series of these too. On FS' site they list
    OZ415 (aka OZ16),
    OZ462 (aka OZ25) and
    OZ467 (aka OZ32).
Looks like they go to 16, 25, 32 mm respectively....

So I made up a batch of nuts.
Mine are a smidge under 19mm wide on the wide part, and around 11.8mm on the narrow part. They stand about 9mm tall from the shoulder to the top. Fit like finger in...

Thanks. That seller doesn't offer shipping to Canada by default, and NA-based sellers with similar T-nuts seem to want a kings ransom for them. I've sent the seller an inquiry about shipping to this...

    FP2/12mm T-nut dimensions

    Hey y'all,

Is there a spec for what a T-slot nut for 12mm slots should look like? I'm about to make a batch, but I don't think I have a good sample to work from - nothing that looks original in...

Looks like Niagara has rebranded or outsourced this kind of milling cutter to KEO. The online tool supplier I use often (Traverse Canada) sells KEO cutters at not-outrageous prices. Nice.
