  5. ISO - CA holders, MT5 center and drill chuck

New machine has a CA post and I need some holders. Basic turning, 1" boring and maybe an MT3.

Also need an MT5 live center and drill chuck.

    Thanks, Cole

It's a good thing I bought the manual, there's a feed/speed chart in there but it doesn't have a chart on the machine itself. Never seen a lathe like that before.

Older thread, but does anyone have literature on how to use Hillman rollers? I've inherited a set and while they seem pretty self explanatory I'd like to read the manual if I could find one.

Timely thread. I'm rewiring a lathe from 480 to 240 and learning about heaters in the process.

If I don't change them, it seems my 20hp motor would only be able to develop 10hp of power due to...

That was my first thought but they needed 2mil in liability insurance and I don't have that much.

Well, she's home safe. Ended up getting it loaded for $500, versalift scale said it was around 10k so that was a little lighter than I thought. It's right at 17' long and is wired for 480v, not...

    Did you slighty undercut them?

I was a little worried that I'd remove too much and cut through the hardened surface. But hell, it's already 77 and I plan to keep it well through its century mark....

  22. Recutting the faces on my single dog clutch, 12CK

The feed clutch on my 12CK engages very smoothly in reverse, but often times skips and bangs going forward. No surprise there, that's where the wear is the greatest. Looking over the manual and...

Never did find an exact weight/foot of extended bed, but the base weight for the 30" c/c is 8600lbs.

Foundation drawings are in the manual I got from Monarch.
