I am taking my 36 inch Bullard home because I cant get scrap price for it, but its more handy the a drill...Phil

Read the law...26k for everything, But any towed load over 10k...dont take my word for it call DOT ask them, its not the good old days, and try to prove to DOT that a industrial lathe is a farm...

Make friends with the local scrap yard, ups would be more than the scrap is worth, I give away piece,s that size to the local home shops but to box a piece up and ship.... cost me too much...Phil

I would make a drill jig and use a twist drill, if you need the 180d clocking a jig will be a must, same goes with the c/c...Phil

This old ground but you can not haul it without a CDL, with out a CDL you are limited to 10k max, (trailer weight added to the lathe weight - tung transfer if your state allows it, most do not ). And...

What do you have to loose, run the motor on 240 and see if it heats, in not run it, if it does run it until the smoke comes out and replace it...Phil
