I got this holder with 14 schaublin ES32 collets, there is no back thread for a pullstud. The clamping seems to be with ball bearings on the taper itself.

Would it be sacrilegious to put a timming pulley at the spindle back to cancel the flatbelt ?!! It would take much less room then an undermount motor/pulleys /flatbelt carrier.

The collet closer tube has 1inch diameter but the spindle bore is 1-1/16, the previous owner said he was using it with number 4c collets but it didn't fit properly
