    Well I did use the cutting torch and in retrospect I think its the way to go. By torching off the rollers it allows proper support tor the pressing opreration...and they were tight. As i see it now...

  10. Removing rollers from carrier Warner & Swasey 1324 BOX TOOL how?

    Have new rollers for this Warner & Swasey 1324 BOX TOOL ....tried holding in vise and tapping with punch to remove old roller..nothing. There isnt any good way to support it to use hydraulic press...

  17. How to remove the rollers from a M-1374 box tool ?

    I got some new rollers for this M-1374 box tool , old rollers are locked up completely .....The shank is a press fit and there really isnt a good way to support the frame for heavy duty pressing........

    Another thought on having a TL around as a 2nd or 3rd or 4th etc machine is the eventuall possibility of a retro to cnc. Turnkey kits are available now ,one doesnt have to be a mad scientist...
