It is an interesting idea but I have used many jewelers rolling mills and they are definitely not going to hold tenths! Mr. Potter makes very nice tools, but this is way outside their intended...

Try google photos. You can pay for it and store full resolution images, or use their free version and store reduced but still very good quality images.

For brass/bronze brazing or high hardness silver soldering you are going to have to get the ways red hot. I doubt you want to do that.

If this is a "normal" bridgeport sized mill you might want to just make an adapter for a cordless drill.
I made one in 30 minutes and use it on my Tree mill constantly.
