Right...automatic software..would require a hack probably beyond IT's expertise or time expenditure. Will mention other possibilities to IT.. I like the idea but execution may be tricky.

Activ started in 1978 in metric countries, 1980 in USA ... this because the first Activ controls (TNC 111) were metric only. America had to wait for the TNC 113... which had inch capability

Started 1978..... ended about 1986. After 86 in manual machines they offered only the FP1 and FP4M... those two in limited numbers until 1992 or so. FP2’s newer than 1982 are very rare
