    That's where I work...for me it's about 70%...

    That's where I work...for me it's about 70% Bridgeport, 20% wire, and 10% CNC. Those numbers fluctuate for me but there's 3 guys that are 100% manual.

    Have you thought about using threaded inserts like helicoil, or some of the others...they can greatly increase the holding strength of threads in aluminum.
