Wondering if anyone is using a "cut to length" optimization software, i.e. upload a cut list, it prints out the order in which to achieve maximum material yield. This is for an application that "by the job" uses a bunch of different lengths of the same material. Also needs to have ability to create a label list or at least export data that could be used to create the label list (Pretty sure they all do this). The volume going through here is pretty low and it's only one or two materials, maybe two batches per week, so more looking at something cost-effective than full of features. No need to manage inventory of fancy stuff, just length & qty of each length, that's it.
There are several I've found on an online search, 1D Stock Cutter, Cutlogic 1D and MaxCut. Hoping that someone has a recommendation on these or others.
Thanks,
